Randal brings extensive commercial real estate knowledge and experience to the Carrington Group and its clients. Throughout his career, Randal has represented institutional real estate owners in the investment, acquisition, disposition, and financing of more than $15 billion in transactions, including involvement in most primary US cities. Randal’s experience encompasses virtually all commercial property types, including office, multifamily, hospitality and industrial assets. In addition to third party transaction services, Randal has been an active investor in commercial real estate for many years and has served as an operating committee member for several of the entities in which he has invested.

Randal’s primary professional associations have been with New York based Eastdil Secured, and with Chicago based Moran & Company. With these firms, he served in senior transaction and leadership roles in Los Angeles, Dallas and Washington, DC, including opening and operating regional offices in each of these locations. In 2020, Randal formed Lion Real Estate Advisers, the platform from which he currently provides customized commercial real estate transaction and advisory services such as seller representation, buyer representation (including 1031 trade needs), and equity/debt placement to institutional and private owners and investors. Randal also continues to pursue real estate investment opportunities as a principal and as an advisor.

Randal and his family moved to the Washington, DC area in 2000. He and his wife reside in northern Virginia. They have three adult children, one of whom lives in Washington, DC while two reside in Columbus, Ohio.
