Chief Investment Officer
Brad Carroll, CFP® serves as the President and Chief Investment Officer of Black Swan Management Group, LLC a Registered Investment Advisory firm based out of the State of Texas. He serves as the Chief Investment Officer for Carrington Advisors, LLC. As such, Brad provides oversight for all Carrington client portfolios. Brad has completed his master’s in financial planning from the College of Financial Planning, and also carries a Certificate in Blockchain and Digital Assets from the Digital Assets Council of Financial Professionals.
Brad structures portfolios that deploy up to ten or more different portfolio strategists with the intent to provide clients with a high probability of achieving their goals with reduced risk and reduced portfolio expense.
Brad also manages two portfolio strategies: Live Oak that features 20 select large cap stocks of highly rated companies that pay a dividend and are trading at an attractive price and screened monthly; The Matrix is a hedge that trades the S&P 500 long and short using the ProFunds Ultra Bull that is designed to daily perform at 2x the S&P 500, and the Ultra Bear that is designed to daily perform at 2x inverse the S&P 500.
Brad is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and a combat veteran with two deployments to Iraq. He started in the finance industry in 2010 where he worked with a top performing portfolio manager who specialized in active tactical management. Brad resides in Minneapolis, MN with his wife, Dr. Dana Carroll, who is an associate professor at the University of Minnesota, and their two daughters, Faye & Ada.
